Building Materials Outlet (BMO) is a family-owned operation performing building material liquidations and auctions since 1963. With locations across the United States, BMO offers building supply manufacturers (line yards, lumber yards, plumbing distributors, and more) a platform to sell their extra and discontinued inventory.
Our stores are stocked with items ready to go home today. About 20% of our inventory at any given time is reserved for our online auction – a clearance sale to make room for new product. No negotiation, no hassle – just quality building materials at liquidation pricing.
We sell on consignment for these businesses and follow the traditional practice of applying a 12% buyer’s premium to all sales at checkout, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No returns, refunds, or exchanges. No exceptions.
Shop BMO like a Pro using these tips:
Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult and a child waiver must be signed. Pro tip – print and sign the waiver ahead of time!
Bring a tape measure! But if you forget, yardsticks can be found near the front desk.
Prices are marked in several ways on items or on the wall near items, but those bright yellow stickers are for auction items only.

Flatbed carts, shopping carts, etc. are available to assist you while inside the store. Please ask our friendly personnel to help you lift or move any heavy items.
Sometimes your eyes are bigger than your…truck. Purchased items can be held up to 7 days, in case you need to come back with a bigger truck, more friends, or both.
